Butter Masala Mac and Cheese
I’m a firm believer in feeding the soul, and this mac and cheese is my go-to-dish when I’m feeling down. Like the best mac and cheese, it uses elbow macaroni, lashings of cheese, and cream. But it’s elevated by a little kick of spice from the Tikka N’ Curry butter masala sauce.
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. butter or oil
- 1/2 jar of Tikka N’ Curry Butter Masala sauce
- 3 tbsp. heavy cream or coconut cream
- 1/2 cup cheese
- 2 cup elbow macaroni
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 1/2 jar of Tikka N’ Curry Butter Masala sauce.
- Bring the sauce to boil for nearly 5 minutes, then whisk in the cream and cheese until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth.
- Flavored with salt and pepper to taste, reduce the heat to a low setting, and keep the sauce warm.
- Cook macaroni as per instructions on the package.
- Drain the pasta and immediately add it to the saucepan. Mix well in the cheese sauce.
- Serve hot.
