Butter Masala Mac and Cheese - Tikka N' Curry

I’m a firm believer in feeding the soul, and this mac and cheese is my go-to-dish when I’m feeling down. Like the best mac and cheese, it uses elbow macaroni, lashings of cheese, and cream. But it’s elevated by a little kick of spice from the Tikka N’ Curry butter masala sauce. 

 

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. butter or oil
  • 1/2 jar of Tikka N’ Curry Butter Masala sauce
  • 3 tbsp. heavy cream or coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup cheese
  • 2 cup elbow macaroni
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add 1/2 jar of Tikka N’ Curry Butter Masala sauce.
  • Bring the sauce to boil for nearly 5 minutes, then whisk in the cream and cheese until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth.
  • Flavored with salt and pepper to taste, reduce the heat to a low setting, and keep the sauce warm.
  • Cook macaroni as per instructions on the package.
  • Drain the pasta and immediately add it to the saucepan. Mix well in the cheese sauce.
  • Serve hot.
